My handsome husband and I bought our very first home in October 2015. We bought a home that we knew would need a lot of work and we were excited to get our hands on the thousands of projects that needed to be done. We didn't have a lot of money (or time) and I knew I couldn't invest a lot into my home. So I decided to start researching how I could improve my home in simple ways that are budget friendly. I found tons of stuff, but they all looked cheap and plastic. I wanted an upscale home that looked upscale, but on a budget.
